Payroll services enable us to regularly interact with your business throughout the year; enabling us to become more involved in your daily activity and better understand your business. For more information visit www.rothrockpayroll.com
We offer 3 levels of services in this area:
- Live Payroll Processing
- After the Fact Payroll Services
- Professional Employer Organization
Live Payroll Processing: Our "Live" payroll processing service is similar to those of national providers. Hourly pay information, along with any changes, additions, or deletions for a pay, can be (a) entered into remote software that is loaded on your computer system, (b) entered into a spreadsheet and emailed, or (c) completed on a pre-printed sheet and faxed.
Once we receive your input data, we do the rest: compute the pays, cut the net paychecks, make the direct deposits, and make sure the checks and corresponding payroll reports get to your business on time. Included in these reports is current and year to date amounts for each employee and totals for the company.
After processing the pay, we will take care of all withholding tax deposits as well as all periodic, monthly, quarterly and/or yearly reporting to all jurisdictions (federal, state and local). We will also withhold for voluntary deductions such as health, dental, insurance and pension plans.
Our state-of-the-art payroll system provides features such as electronic funds transfer for withholding taxes, unlimited pay types, time-off-accruals (vacation, holiday and sick time), tip reporting, certified payroll reports, third-party sick pay, and is ready to pay employees in all 50 states.
After-the-Fact Payroll Service: Our "After-the-Fact" payroll service keeps the client responsible for computing payroll, remitting taxes and maintaining payroll records. Schulte & Company completes all the quarterly, semi-annual and annual payroll forms after payrolls for a calendar quarter have been paid by the client. Copies of all filings are provided to the client.
Professional Employer Organization (PEO): Schulte & Company provides its clients with the option of joining a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). Our PEO enables clients to cost-effectively outsource the management of human resources, employee benefits, payroll and workers' compensation.
In addition to the "Live" payroll services described above, the PEO may provide employee benefits such as health insurance, cafeteria plans, and retirement plans as well as management of workers compensation, unemployment insurance claims and payroll audits. The PEO delivers these services by entering into a contract with the client whereby the PEO assumes certain employer rights, responsibilities, and risks. The client maintains day-to-day supervision and control of the employees; allowing the PEO client to concentrate on the revenue-producing side of its operations.
Unlike other Professional Employer Organizations, each client maintains their own history for purposes of unemployment and workers' compensation. The advantage of this is that each client enjoys the benefits of joining together for employee benefit offerings without the risk of being negatively impacted by another client's business practices.
For more information on how a PEO works and the specific benefit packages available, please see the "Client Area" of this website. |
